Czech IT Academy
Cavendish Robots belongs to the Czech IT Academy group. Thanks to it we have what cannot be bought on the market: developers who can put a humanoid into real operation, something only a few companies in the world can do today.
What the Academy is
A technology centre where talented young people work on real projects alongside experienced professionals, from software and hardware design to training humanoids. For prototyping it works with the laboratories of ČVUT CIIRC and SSPŠ.
The Academy is not a school. People who grow up here can take things all the way into operation, and those are exactly the people humanoid integration needs.

Why integration depends on them
A humanoid does nothing out of the box. For it to take a part off the line, someone has to teach it the grip, connect it to the machines around it and tune it so that it lasts a whole shift. That is integration, and it is where a deployment succeeds or fails.
There are few people in the world who can do it, and most of them work directly for the manufacturers. We have them in our own group: developers from the Academy who took the first humanoid apart and are teaching it to work with its hands.
